Illustration Friday: Skyline

And now for something completely different.
I was going to draw this view from the top of Ruckers Hill in Northcote today, but it's so wintery and gray I didn't want to go outside. Fortunately I took a photo of it last night, which i used as reference for this which I did in Illustrator using shapes rather than line for a change . It's nothing flash close up, but viewed small it really captures that night view, especially if you've got blurry eyes like me. I think I like it.

I really like this. It is very interesting that the small image works better than the blown up version.

yeah that's cool. I don't know Ruckers Hill, will have to check it out (I am in Brunswick!). I always love getting up above the city.
